FOLLOW-UP
How can Corporate Outdoor Training offer
follow up support to my organisation?
The development of positive, productive and fulfilling working
relationships amongst individuals, teams and work groups is an
on-going process not an event! Like all things it can slip away
if it is not constantly maintained and re-inforced.
It is with this in mind that we offer on-going support to our
clients to ensure there is meaningful transfer of learning to the
workplace. This support can take many forms and directly reflects
the specific needs of each of our clients.
Some examples of follow-up support include:
RRR DAY
This is a follow-up day usually conducted off-site which focuses
on the 3 Rs:
| Review |
- looking back, have we achieved what we said we
would? |
| Re-energise |
- build upon learnings, motivate and boost energy
levels! |
| Re-commit |
- identify and commit to the next steps in a
continuous improvement journey. |
TEAM SKILLS TRAINING
While your team may be motivated they may lack specific skills
to work effectively as a team. Corporate Outdoor Training offers
a range of team support modules which will help your team achieve
extraordinary results.
Team modules include:
- Creating a Team Vision, Values, Mission
- Managing Disagreements Constructively
- Running Effective Meetings
- Problem Solving and Decision Making
- Basic Quality Concepts and Data Tools
- Planning Skills
- Project Management
- Developing a Performance Management Plan
These and other modules may be
conducted on or off-site by experienced facilitators to ensure
your team achieves desired results.
REWARD AND RECOGNITION DAY
It is important that teams take time out to celebrate success and
recognise the individual and collective effort along the way.
This spurs individuals and teams on to even greater achievements.
Some examples include:
- Whitewater Rafting on the Thomson River
- Corporate Sailing Day on Port Phillip Bay
- Hot Air Ballooning in the Yarra Valley
CHALLENGE OF CHANGE (2 Days)
Individuals, teams, organisations are constantly challenged with
finding new and better ways of doing things. This means people
need to be not only able to cope with change but in
fact view change as exciting, an opportunity! The shift from
coping to a proactive approach to change can be a
difficult process. We have found that by offering people a
supportive learning environment whereby they may experience and
reflect upon stepping out of the comfort zone, new
strategies for dealing with change emerge.
The use of a high ropes course provides an excellent vehicle for
people to set and meet a personal challenge and to examine
strategies for dealing with a constantly changing environment.

complicated. Our senior organisational consultants can help you
develop a Team Implementation Strategy which will ensure your
