Ryan Powell is a Senior Consultant with Corporate Outdoor Training

With over ten years experience in education, training and team management in diverse settings both in Australia and abroad, Ryan brings a sound understanding of the importance of team development and unity within industry at all levels.

Ryan has worked closely with a vast number of companies over the years in promoting diversity within the workplace through consultation, planning and the delivery of training at both Senior Management and staff levels.

Previously, Ryan has worked as teacher in a remote Indigenous community in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia, as well as the traditional Aussie teaching stint in the UK, where he specialized in the management of challenging behaviours.

Ryan has spent many years in negotiating employment terms and conditions with employers for people entering or re entering the workforce, as well as the development, design and implementation of accredited training for the specific needs of industry.

In his spare time Ryan plays competitive cricket and baseball. He enjoys camping holidays with his family and friends, and most of all loves being a dad to his little girl.
